In this painting there is a group of people.
You can see that there are two men at the table, between the two men there is a woman, the table is located in the center of the room.
On the table there is also a woman sitting between the young man and the elderly woman, to the right of the woman there is an old woman serving coffee cups, you can see that there are four cups of coffee on the table and some plates with food..
On the right side of the old woman there is an old man who asks the woman to serve him a cup of coffee, next to this man a young woman eats the food that is on the table.
Above the table there is an old lamp that illuminates the small room.
There is a picture above the man who is eating some food from the table, next to the picture there is an old clock.
In front of the old woman there is a table, on which there is a teapot.

About the painting

Van Gogh Potato Eaters, his first major work, was painted in 1885. By this time, he was still having difficulty finding love, but he was beginning to receive interest in his paintings.

Van Gogh noted the thick hands and footprints on the faces of the workers of the earth. In search of the intensity in the dramatic expression,

he explored the potential of the dark tones of the baroque and the nervous stroke.

Van Gogh expressed the following:

"I wanted to put the idea that those people who, in the light of the lamp eat potatoes serving the plate with their fingers, also worked the earth in which the potatoes have grown;

This picture, therefore, evokes manual labor and suggests that these peasants deserve to eat what they have honestly earned.

I wanted to make you think of a way of life very different from ours. So, I do not want in the least that no one finds it even nice or good."

About Vincent Vangoh

Van Gogh was born in 1853 and grew up in Holland. He was raised in a religious family. When he finished his studies, Vincent followed the profession of his uncle and became an art dealer learning the trade in Holland and then working in England and France.

Vincent was successful and initially was happy with his work. However, he soon got tired of the art company, especially in Paris, and lost interest in the trade. In 1880, at age 27,

Van Gogh entered the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Belgium. The following winter, living in Amsterdam, Vincent fell in love, his heart was broken, and began to paint. The next few years would translate into little success in both love and art.

Vincent van Gogh became one of the most famous artists in the world. His paintings have touched cultures all over the world, and he became the archaeotype of "tortured artist."

Hello, my name is Luisa Fernanda Peréz Mejía, I'm 20 years old.

I was born on April 29, 1997 in Caucasia Antioquia,

but when I was 5 years old I had to move to the city of Barranquilla ,

I grew up with a beautiful family, made up of my mother, Milena, my father Mauricio and my younger sister, Isabella.

My mother is a nurse at the Sahagún hospital, and my father is an inspector of public spaces.

I'm studying two beautiful university careers, Bachelor in English and

Administration in Finance and International Business.

One of things that I like to do is draw in my free time.

I don't have preferences in music or food. I can be fun but also very diligent in my things. On other hand, I like to travel and I dream about traveling the world and learning about the different cultures.
